When have developers done that before? These people are only saying this because its something they dont want

Jagex did it with everything on OSRS until 2015, only stopping with timed events. They poll the community because OSRS is advertised as the community's game over the developer's. RS3 is hot garbage and people jumped ship because Jagex hasn't made a single good idea in ten years.

So far all of your arguments have been pushing shallow and unimportant virtues, and you use it to justify childish and insensitive behavior and shift the blame on the developer. Why do you think "bbbut it's a community game" means Jagex answers to you? Why do you think a bunch of good things means you're just automatically owed whatever you want? Everyone can vote with their wallets, but why do you think you're entitled to anything more than that? Why do you think you're so important that you have the authority to intimidate devs with "you asked for this", and then play victim when people's shitty and offensive actions lead to bans?
