And you can even look around some more for more places to pay a visit to. Cause you've walked by a fuckload and a half of various directions to take.

Dude, it's easy as fuck to get 20k souls. Just kill those mossy knight dudes down near the Moonlight Butterfly. Once you kill them all, rest at bonfire, rinse, repeat. It's how I did it when I wanted to grief in the forest with a minmax build.

Nope. I have only killed a butterfly, two gargoyles, the centaur. I have never even seen a hydra yet.

You literally won't be able to miss the fucking thing when you wander into it's area.

Mainly because it sure as fuck won't miss you.

Secondly, I believe that if you've killed the gaygoyles you get the key to the deprths. Actually, scratch that. It's Capra that gives you the key. I honestly don't remember how to get to capra. But he's in the lower undead burg.

Lemme think here. Getting ass stomped in the forest is natural if you don't know what you're doing. Learn to parry for starters. And GO SLOWLY. You can usually lure out each human enemy one at a time which makes them easier to fight.

Out in the forest there's a Hydra mini-boss, you say you ran into Havel, the dude with a massive club. The Hydra isn't far off. Assuming you took the cliff side forest path, it's in a basin. I haven't played in a long time so I'm not 100% sure, but there should be a ladder and a npc in the surrounding area. Where the ladder goes I've forgotten.

It goes up into the forest where he is now.

Loaf, you killed the gaygoyles. That gives you a key that you can use. Do you know where you killed the minotaur? Okay, use some memory here. You fight him on a big long walkway, right? After you beat him, and you go to the end of the bridge and a small building, there will be a dude on the left, and to the right, another bridge with a huge fucking red dragon on it.

Before you get on that bridge, there's a door that you can open to a room with a really long fucking ladder.

Easiest fucking door in the game to miss. If memory serves, that will take you to knew places.

I never got into lower undeadberg. I think that's probably in that staircase that spirals upwards, with the overly armored guy with the giant club sword at the bottom of it who kills you in like one hit. I tried so many times to kill that thing, except it would just keep killing me.

Nope.

That goes to the forest where you are now. If you kill havel in there, you'll be back in the woods where you are now.

I know. I did it too.

Go back to where you fought the minotaur.

But I ran to the top of the staricase and it said I was in undeadberg. It's the witches basement, in the forest basin.
