what's the best boss to farm souls from

If you need to soul farm I'd recommend the 3 winged knights on top of the archives. Each run yields 75,000 for a couple minutes of work.

yeah but that's so boring and i need the sunlight medallions for my covenant
I haven't followed the thread too closely, but I thought you were going to do all covenant rewards offline? Anyways, I'd pick Yhorm since he's so quick.

I started playing online again after i defeated the Soul of Cinder. I just didn't want invaders/hints to ruin my experience the first time through.

Wyvern defeated. Easiest boss in the game.

Archdragon peak is probably my favourite area in the game so far.

Beat him on my first go. Nameless King is now my favourite boss. The presentation is just perfect.

I wish I had beaten those two bosses before the Soul of Cinder... really anti-climactic now.

Took out the dragon in like 3 rotations (managed to stab him in the eye with that sweet animation twice) and then the second phase was easy. A lot like the Soul of Cinder boss fight, except with less bullshit.

Sunlight Sword is a beast, plus I was using the lightning blade miracle.

it took me like 8 times to get past the dragon tbh. I would always lose track of him and get dicked by a lightning bolt or one shot by his fire from above attack

The king himself wasn't bad though

Now go beat bloodborne

Yeah I can see how the dragon would be more difficult. I found that if you can switch targets while he's in the air, it's easier to time the roll in order to dodge the lightning bolts. Once the dragon has landed you switch your lock-on to him, roll into his fire breathe because >invincibility and then if you hit him enough times he sort of collapses, opening him up for an eye stab which takes out a chunk of his health.

Not until I get the Platinum, boy.

Is BB more difficult? And you have DS3 on Xbox One, right?

And I still need to know if there are some things I should do before starting NG+. I'm trying to buy all of the Shrine Hand Maiden's finite items (like armour, embers, etc.) in this playthrough. Stocking up and such. Level up my guy as much as possible (currentl 123 IIRC).

Dark souls 3 is the easiest game overall imo. The only bosses that gave me trouble were Aldrich and Nameless King

In bloodborne I didn't even solo all of the bosses. I personally thought bloodborne was significantly harder than all the dark souls games. However other people have said it's easier. It's different from person to person I guess

If I had to rate the difficulty I would say
BB>DS2>DS1>DS3

Is Bloodborne a co-op game?

I want to buy Scholar of the First Sin next, to be honest. Then I'll play Bloodborne, and eventually get around to Dark Souls 1 and Demon Souls.

Yeah but you probably spent way more on armour and mats than me. I literally only upgraded myself and my Lothric Sword until the Twin Princes fight.

all of them are co-op but I don't have my copy of bloodborne. I loaned it to my friend for the summer.

Honestly I love dark souls 2 and it gets a lot of hate that I think is completely undeserved. It does suffer from "artificial difficulty" as the fanbase likes to call it though. A couple of the boss fights instead of having difficult  mechanics they just said "fuck it lets make them fight 7 guys at once"

And for whatever reason they think it's a cool idea to repeat a couple of bosses but make you fight 2 at once.

Other than that I think it's an awesome game

I also bought like a million embers for one of the guys I Iived with because he fucking sucked and couldn't beat any bosses without co-oping

Mostly right now I'm focusing on getting everything I absolutely can from this Journey. All the rings I can, all the spells/pyromancies/miracles I can, all the weapons/armour/mats I can. I want to completely exhaust all the resources possible on this playthrough so that I'm prepared to go come Journey 2.

I'd also like my stats to look something like this:

Vigor: 50 (24)
Attunement: 35 (16)
Endurance: 40 (35)
Strength: 40 (31)
Dexterity: 40 (31)
Faith: 40 (30)

The other stats will come during Journey 2 and this might be a bit of a pipe dream but this would be ideally what goes down.

Can I sell my boss souls if I don't like anything they offer from transposition
yeah but if you're going for platinum you need every weapon so...
Sorry-not-sorry man, but you're wrong again.
There are achievements for acquiring all pyromancies, all sorceries, all miracles and all rings respectively . So before you transpose anything into a weapon you don't want transpose it into spells or rings if possible.

By the way, Snake, have you by chance fought a dude wielding a giant club and a stone greatshield on top of archdragon peak? If so check back above the Wolf of Farron bonfire. There's something hidden for you.
Also if haven't done it yet, use the path of the dragon gesture in front of the altars in the archdragon peak.

That's like mid NG+ playtrough territory. I still haven't seen the need to level up my main beyond SL 100 and I'm already at Pontiff.

And don't overestimate NG+. (Sadly) the only change applied to increase difficulty is giving enemies higher attack ratings and more health.
Since you know most of the ins-and-outs by now it will be a breeze.

Well for the Platinum trophy I'm going to need to play the game thrice (and a fourth time if you consider the fact that I want the alternative ending where you kill the Firekeeper), so it's not a huge deal. But yes, I'm missing a few Spells for that trophy.

His armour, right? Yeah, I found it during my sweep of the areas trying to find Archdragon Peak.

Well that's good to know. But still, I figure I'm going to have to put in the man hours eventually to get up to that level.

Besides, I don't really mind all that much. I'm currently going through all rings/spells trying to figure out what I'm missing and what I can acquire before moving on to Journey 2.

For some reason, my Infusement trophy is fucked. I bought a dagger and infused one of everything onto it, including the irving stone (that gets rid of all infusements, idr what it's called.)
