His attacks are so easy to read because he has such a long wind-up time. Whereas Pontiff doesn't so it makes it all the more difficult to beat him considering the input lag on this TV.

I thought pontiff and the boss right after him were 2 of the hardest in the game tbh the hardest is definitely one of the optional bosses you haven't gotten to yet

Okay, some help may be required. I've gotten to the "dark" version of the firelink shrine (bought the wolf knight set btw, looks sick), but I'm not sure what to do now.

I was being literally one shot by ALL his attacks when I faced him.

Also that's a dead end, OCELOT and Gundyr 2: drop kick boogaloo were optional

You were probably just too underleveled or something. The only notable attack is the arrows raining from the sky, but you can just sprint away from that pretty easily.

Ah, I see. I must have missed something then. I was pretty sure Dragonslayer Armour was optional.

There's also the magical phenomenon of different bosses being hard for different people

Compared the other games I don't think dark souls 3 has many hard bosses

Something interesting is that I thought blood borne was significantly harder than dark souls 3, but my roommate had an insanely hard time getting through DS3 but breezed through bloodborne

Fuck I wish I could erase my memory and play through these for the first time again

You can't infuse it. It's a unique weapon. Go full DEX if you are dedicated to use it though. Maybe invest a bit in luck (around 20-ish) if you want the superior bleed damage unique to it to proc more often.

Yep I meant Pickle-Pee. A new game cycle resets her trade status, so you trade the same items for the same rewards again.

Weak to frost. Resist lightning and dark.

Get your dodge game going. If he gets you in a combo he will deplete your stamina if you block it. He has long recovery so exploit that to attack or heal, engaging before he attacks is usually risky.

Don't even try to block, just dodge. Also be weary the creepy ass dragon can attack sometimes too

i really like the katana weapon subclass, so are there any good katanas that i can infuse and upgrade to be really good

All the katanas are good imo

Uchigatana is a good all rounder
Washing pole is big and has good strength scaling
Black blade is short but hits hard
There's a set of dual katanas that have a REALLY fun moveset

They all have slightly different movesets and sizes so just try them all although darkdrift and pretty shit
