You wanna know what I like most about this game?

It's that I'm 30 hours in and I still don't have the faintest idea what I'm doing. And for some reason I'm okay with that. I'm just playing a game for the experience instead of for the story or escapism. First time that's ever happened.

I've reached an impasse. I've progressed as far as I could without fighting a boss and now I have 3 on my plate.

Yhorn, the Giant in the Profaned Capital.
Pontiff Sulyvahn in the Irithyll of the Boreal Valley.
And the Dancer of the Boreal Valley at the High Wall of Lothric.

I suspect there's another boss soon too because my brother mentioned he was at the Smouldering Lake when he asked where I was.

Lost 200k souls from dying today but I'm not too pissed about it. My weapons are good, I'm just working on my equip load because I'm too slow with my favourite armour.

There are far too many false chest monster and they do way too much damage.

I've used a shit ton of titanite on my Lothric sword... is it possible to transfer that to another sword?

Also, is the Dark Sword a reliable weapon? I feel like the lothric sword isn't that good, even though I'm 3 shotting most enemies. Need something reliable for the rest of the game.

once you use titanite it's gone but you'll be rolling in it later

Because my heavy lothric sword is +5... is there nothing to be done about that

And is it worth it to farm the dark sword and build it up to +5 or should i just continue with my lothric sword

it's all personal preference really

Might as well farm the dark sword and see if you like it's moveset

literally any weapon can get you through the game.  The lothric sword is one of the better swords straight swords tho especially if you level both strength and dex since it can get a B scaling in both and its moveset is nice

I know I have to defeat Alva outside of the Irithyll Dungeon and then collect his armour somewhere in the Dungeon. That's what I'll be doing when I start playing again today.
