It isn't, but not by very much. Marth loses to about 3-5 more characters than Corrin, though Marth's results are way better than Corrin's right now.YOC, Ryuga, and somewhat Ryo are the Corrins getting results right now (would mention Cosmos but he doesn't travel). Marth has Leo, False, Pugwest, and Mr. E doing a lot.

SpoilerDespite being stressed as fuck today about my great grandmother having surgery (she's 102), and apparently the venue is having some issues with us holding events there so we might have to move. Fun stuff to deal with as botha T.O AND player : D Lost to our olimar player who randomly picked up kirby (probably to counter me specifically), in winner's finals 3-1. I lost with fox, won with mario, then lost with corrin against his kirby.Then grands, I won 3-1 all with fox. Bracket reset. I 3-0 him with fox again. He switched to olimar the last game. Made some very much needed cash since I had zero dollars going into this thing after paying my way in.Also holy shit, we really need a stream. There's some great talent here.Any tourney stories fellas?

There's some great talent here.Any tourney stories fellas?Good shit my manAfter my first Melee tourney where I got 4th (It was a big tourney given the size of the local scene; 15 participants) I've been going 0-2 in every bracket, including weeklies. I've actually been really uncomfortable and my movement has been putrid. I've been dropping a lot of wavedashes and L cancels I feel I should really be making and I've lost a lot of matches against people I feel I should be able to absolutely stomp, simply because I autopilot/flub techs at the drop of a hat. Had a few close matches against the top players in my scene, but Uthrow > Rest was carrying me against the Fox player and Wobbling against the Marth mains.What's weird is I'm actually better in Smash 4 than ever, as opposed to my form in both games suffering.
I think I just played MisterEric, who is a top R.O.B. I played him in tourney mode....Almost actually took off a stock....

So these guys are gimping me hard with shinespikes, chain grabbing me,and im still winning somehow lol.I would've entered melee last night but switching between games constantly makes me bad in smash 4, and I NEEDED the winnings from Smash 4 to make it to work this week. The lack of a 7 frame input buffer and the game fast falling literally everything off the edge when you first come from smash 4 means you're playing a completely different game tbh. Tournaments are also normally oversaturated with Space Animal players with all the tech skill/kill setups in the world but no idea how to win neutral so if your fundamentals are sound you're pretty much a better melee player than them even without using basic tech like Wavedashing and L cancelling. In your shoes I'd have focused on Smash 4 too
