Yeah they do.
"I'm not against sex, I'm just against sex."
Yeah he did.

That's it. Having a low-cut shirt provides no benefit whatsoever other than "oh look, a female with tits."

except supporting breasts while letting their skin breathe

the thing about body heat is....it happens all over your body

Fortunately I finally found the right words to adequately describe the idea, even if I wasn't entirely sure of it. So let me know what you think after a while, I'm intrigued. So, yeah, I agree with you to an extent. Earlier, I was speaking from a position of objectivity, which was wrong of me, because the bottom line of my argument is that men and women should be portrayed as "realistically" as possible, which is sort of an appeal to nature. In other words, I'm projecting my personal taste onto everyone else, which isn't right. However, my personal taste is still my personal taste. That hasn't changed a bit. I don't think I can justify my arguments from a feminist perspective anymore--simply my own perspective. My values. You can accept or discard my values as you please, but I'm going to have my values. Nothing is preventing me from discussing my values with other people and attempting to persuade them into my line of thinking. It just won't be from a feminist "sexual characters are sexist" standpoint anymore. It's not that it's sexist--I just really hate expressions of sexuality, and they're incredibly overdone in the game industry. THAT'S my problem.I hope that made sense. I have a headache.

There isn't just "impossibly attractive" and "fat and ugly"--there's a middle ground.Alyx (I basically consider her the paragon of female characters right now) reaches that middle ground pretty well. She's not ugly, but she's not impossibly beautiful to the point where you start questioning the motives of the developers.
i would like to point out that I think most girls in real life like to make themselves look good. Like, is that a point we've glossed over a bit perhaps? That a woman can try to look good and present themselves in a way that is attractive? That's an obvious point of course but it is a realistic point imo.
I think some of you are confused on what feminism means.
why do you want to oppress women by forcing them to wear more clothing?
Cleavage also happens to be a sweaty as fuck area when excercising
By thinking women only wear that to attract you, you're treating them as a sexual object.
Women do things other than just to accentuate their tits.
Again, not sure how 3 inches of less clothing on the area of the tits where you sweat the least is going to make a difference.
From what I'm told, it is a lot more comfortable.
Quote from: Dietrich Six on December 16, 2015, 07:13:47 PMI think some of you are confused on what feminism means.Feminism is the belief that women are not inferior to men, and shouldn't be treated as such--in any way. They should have all the same rights and privileges as men do.Everyone is a feminist--some of us just lack the balls to admit it.Unless they really DO believe that women are subhuman, but no one here actually believes that.
But some are a little misguided in how they view women.

Why the fuck ain't the people you looking at wearing sports bras? A lowcut shirt doesn't do much for holding shit together lol, and sports bras do the opposite of "accentuating" breasts
