No, you're talking about her physical appearance.
Wait, no that was wrong. OKAY POINT ISjust because some skin may be showing, that doesn't always mean it's suddenly making the character shallow. Or if a woman has big breasts. A thing that may shock some people (brace yourself), is that there are women out therewho actually have big breastsI know, crazy right? If women should all care you like you say, how are they supposed to feel when people suddenly condemn a character because of her bust size?

She's wearing a tank topThat's not exactly bad is it? If there is ANY cleavage showing, it's bad?
Quote from: TBlocks on December 16, 2015, 05:59:09 PMWhat would make it "fully there" then? I'm curious. He simply wants there to be a good reason for her to look like that. And there never is a good reason.I mean, a tank top is better than a bikini, but a t-shirt is better still and would fit perfectly fine with Lara specifically.

I'm pretty sure they always had a character going for her when they rebooted it. Not looks.

Come on, Verb. If you played it, you'd realize that no, her character is actually pretty damn well done.
Many archaeologists wear tank tops... Generally because where they are working is a hot environment.
Quote from: TBlocks on December 16, 2015, 06:06:20 PMMany archaeologists wear tank tops... Generally because where they are working is a hot environment.Ehh. Quiet has to wear a bikini so she doesn't suffocate. There's pretty much no good reason to sexualise a character at all unless it progresses the story in some way...I mean, I'm really scraping the bottom of the barrel when it comes to complaints about her design, but she's not perfect.
That one had been stewing for while ever since this thread took off. Fortunately I finally found the right words to adequately describe the idea, even if I wasn't entirely sure of it. So let me know what you think after a while, I'm intrigued.

Like. Quiet is a different story entirely. Lara is wearing something that works with her profession and environment... What more do you want?
Quiet is a perfect of hyper sexualizing a character for no reason. She wasn't a strong character at all and the lame ass excuse of her breathing through her skin is insulting.
New Lara =/= Quiet tho
I really do think this is just nitpicking.
Lara's new design was perfectly fine, there's nothing wrong with it.
That really is scraping for a complaint... Like. Quiet is a different story entirely.

So women can't wear tank tops?
