It's more about the overrepresntation of FE characters when a more unique one could have been chosen. Kamui being included is just driven by an advertising campaign for the new FE that's due out in the west soon. Kamui is basically SSB4's Roy.

And my point is mainly this: It's not that Ridley can never be a character. But for this game in particular it would be odd since he's a stage boss in it.

I'm not mad either. I'm honestly indifferent. However as I stated I think that FE has too many characters in SSB4 and more interesting people could have been chosen.

Melee may have been the best, but Smash 4 is still very fun. It puts the best parts of Brawl and Melee together, I think.

Melee is beyond me for sure, but I can at least learn and get pretty good in Sm4sh

One thing I just don't understand:

Why do we keep getting characters with one hit kill moves? That's one of my few pet peeves with the whole game.
The newer characters keep getting moves that can win a fight with one lucky hit despite them getting their asses handed to them.
