>Change the Boltshot from being a shotgun

Even more peculiar, why was it's pre-patch range longer than the UNSC shotgun? I understand 343 wanted to have a unique weapon for the forerunner secondary and a Shotgun pistol sounds good on paper but in practice it's not a good thing at all.

Why is this so black?
It's either change or do the same thing every game and become stale and repetitive like Call Of Duty has. Albeit 343's changes weren't the best.

Why was the Halo 3 melee system dropped?
Why are there warning/hazard stickers on random places of the armor in Halo Reach?
Who were the drunks that designed Halo 4's armor sets?

Did they ever put in friendly fire in matchmaking? I thought that was pretty bad, because suddenly teammates could and would ignore each other, block each other's shots, unnecessarily steal kills, and the like... and it made for a less personal experience.

Halo should never, ever feel impersonal.

I wouldn't consider nerfing a few guns or removing them as options "fixed".  And I wouldn't see what the point of keeping custom loadouts would be if you took out custom armor abilities, and made a lot of the weapons less niche.

It'd be better to promote even starts, than letting the gameplay be so inconsistent and plagued with things like plasma pistol + sticky grenade spawns, perks, and other detriments.
