He was aboard a pelican along with a marine, a pilot and an ONI officer. After meeting up with J117, there, they boarded the flagship Ascendant Justice by using th Longsword as a kamikaze ship and then using the pelican to fly into the hangar. They storme te bridge and gave Cortana access to disable life support in remaining sectors of the ship to allow the UNSC to move freely. Finally, they jumped to Reach, rescued the remnants of Blue team and destroyed the station Unyielding Heirophant, hereby stopping an invasion fleet of over 500 warships.
