The entire great bay sequence is awful, otherwise the rest of the game is great.

I don't want to talk too much about this game for reasons, but let me just say that the sidequests are considered the meat of the game. So, if you like lore, maybe just try to immerse yourself in the game's narrative. Become acquainted with all the NPCs in Clock Town. It's... key.

If that's not your deal, well... I dunno. I would say keep at it, but if you're ultimately just not enjoying the game, I can't really give that advice in good conscience.

are you playing 3D? most people like mm cuz of its side quests...

My only complaint about the remake is the swimming mechanics. they completely butchered them from the original

I feel you, I do dislike most Zelda games outside of the original Legend of Zelda. It's one of those either love or hate franchises.

Okay I decided to suck it in and push through and finished the Woodfall temple. I had about 10 seconds left when I managed to catch the Butler and get the pig mask. THAT WAS SOME INTENSE SHIT.

I loved every second of it. It may have something to do with it I played it when it first came out, back when it was cool figuring out everything by yourself.
