It's not my type of game. It feels clunky sometimes in it's game mechanics, Uncharted 3 had this problem too, but it's story holds it up a lot.

I'm the exact opposite. I loathe the Uncharted series, and seriously don't understand the hype around it. It's gameplay is boring. It goes from puzzle, to shoot-em-up room, to platform, to puzzle, and on, and on, and on. And the story isn't all that great, either. Every single game has the same kind of ending.

Whereas TLOU has worse gameplay mechanics, but more fun gameplay. The pacing of walking around and searching for supplies and the the random enemy group or clicker crowd flows nicely. The story is also unarguably a masterpiece.

I bought a PS3 last year for the sole purpose of playing TLOU, and I'm very glad I did.

Out of all apocalyptic scenarios zombie-like plagues are my least favorite so I don't have much interest in it.
