Just walked around Riptide. It's Fathom, thematically, with an entirely different layout. It's basically a destroyed version of Fathom that washed up and filled with sand. It's asymmetric and smaller: they opened some hallways up, blocked others, added some terrain, and redid the middle.Uhhh...I mean 343 lied, people died.

A BALANCED HALO BREAKFASTAll we're missing are
Just did a custom game walkthrough of Riptide, and as expected, it's just a remix of an already-existing map. (It's sad of how this is 343's logic of new maps.)Just curious of how more different 343 will make The Rig from its base version in the next update.
Quote from: BerzerkCommando on January 26, 2016, 05:13:10 PMMeanwhile we're still missing the game modes the other Halo games managed to launch with, but who needs gamemodes when you can have weapon skins instead. They're already fucking coming within the next month, calm your fucking tits already.

Bungie managed to release Halo 3 which launched on a new system just like Halo 5, but that game launched with all of Halo 2's game modes. There is no good reason why 343 didn't launch Halo 5 with the already existing gamemodes when Bungie manged to with Halo 3.
meh. i want brand new maps, not remixes

Remember when you paid $10 for three new unique maps? Those were the days.

Hey guys remember when DLC was new content released after the game's completion that wasn't content deliberately cut and repackaged as DLC content or crappy remixes, reskins, and RNG crap?Yeah, those were the days.Thank you modern day AAA gaming for enhancing all of our patented gaming experiences™

Why would 343 cut out all of this content and release it later for free? The whole thing with people going on about cut content in games like Destiny. Is that they cut the content for more profit. But, it wouldn't make sense to cut content only to release it later for free.
