Dark Souls. I picked it up on a sale one day, knowing nothing about it, and figured it wasn't for me when I got reckt by the asylum demon. Heard good things about it and a couple months later picked it up and tried to learn the mechanics. Now it's one of my favorite series.

I only play Halo 5 Gourdians when there's friends to play it with. And even then I'm not too invested since half the time all I'm doing is laughing at my friend's shit luck instead of mine.

Halo CE is terrible and I only beat it so I could say I beat all of the Halos on Legendary.

When I first played Far Cry 3 I didn't like it all that much so I set it aside.

I was bored one day and came back to play this game and ended up enjoying the shit out of it.

This was my exact expereince with the game. I think I got to the mission where you have to board that beached tanker early in the game without being seen or something and I eventually got bored of it. Returned a couple months later and played the shit out of it.

Which reminds me... Far Cry 2. Oh, god, that was awful.

I haven't completed ODST. I played it, didn't like it, forced myself to play it again to get my money's worth, hated it, and convinced myself that I didn't need to keep playing. Most of the games on this list suffer from that same trend.

The game has a hard time explaining the "path to success". The best way to beat the game is to use the d-pad, run behind an enemy, and repeatedly tap square to strangle. But the game never tells you that.

Is Nuts and Bolts actually that bad of a game?
People always talk shit about it but I've never heard actual complaints other than "Muh Classic Banjo and Kazoie", and the whole premise of building shit all besiege like sounds pretty cool TBH

I powered through the campaign on Hardened and found it rather easy at times. Get gud

Even if it wasn't a B-K title, it would still be a shit game. They recycle the same levels in excess of 30 times, the Vehicle building is the primary mechanic of the game, and the entire story is literally "drive here, here and here in this time frame to get this reward." Gameplay is genuinely more limited than it was 8 years earlier.

Skinning it as Banjo-Kazooie was a slap in the face to fans of the original 2 games, and don't even get me started on that god awful Lord of Games character. The only redeeming factor is the art style looks nice.
