I saw this game on the Steam front page today: http://store.steampowered.com/app/413410/

I do have a causal interest in anime, but the obscure stuff puts me off. Are games like this any good?

Most of them are basically audio books with pictures thrown in. Depending on the developer more intricate stuff will be done with animation and the like.

I just regard any VN's that end up on Steam as most likely garbage.

And fuck you, LC. Why you gotta make me feel? Witch will never be translated and Nasu will never finish the Tsukihime remake. I might as well go fucking kill myself now.

The best we can hope for is an anime adaptation by Ufotable and for FromSoftware to go under so Nasu won't be able to play the next installment of Dark Souls.

Unfortunately no more FromSoftware also means no more Armored Core so my mecha needs will go unsated.
