I just hope they upgrade the original idea from the first game. The first game was good, but not Starcraft worthy of applause.

As a basic, stone-age console gimp I prefer Supreme Commander 2 and Halo Wars to Starcraft-there are limits to how you can play an RTS with a controller, a certain simplification that I appreciate PC gamers hate.

But seriously, what is needed is a drastic expansion and addition of game mechanics-drastic base building like in Supreme Commander would be ridiculous, so instead a huge boost in available tactics and technologies, as well as unit types and detail would be the way to go-no need to overhaul the core game

I'm disappointed that it won't be Ensemble making it. On top of that, the guys heading development for this game are the makers of the Total War series iirc, which plays and works completely differently to the Age of games.

I found Halo Wars to be a lot of fun, I just hope this delivers on that.
And Editor mode has to be a part of the game.
