Promise me I won't have to watch blue team die one by one until literally the least useful member of the team and the chief are the last two alive, and then the Chief goes down in a hail of bullets and a final showdown against insurmountable odds.

Don't let Blue Team, a team with characters I actually care about, be the next Noble.

If Chief and Blue team meet their demises in 6 (won't happen in 5) and we get a new trilogy starring Locke and the randoms then I won't even be mad.

The Chief is going out of gaming fashion and the more you stretch his story the worse it'll get, 5 is building to 6-the apex. From 6 onwards it's inevitable that Blue team will be killed off as will the Master Chief.
