At least we got to see some new environments and shit with Reach, and some actual story, even thought there wasn't much. ODST we get jack and explore the boring streets of New Mombassa.Gameplay wise, both campaigns are great though.

It did have great gameplay, only MUH MLG fags didn't get on well with it.It was just a terrible addition to the franchise and changed the formula of multiplayer a bit too much for most vocal people to handle.
halo is dead.

Well yeah.Halo as a franchise is anything but dead however. The population argument is kind of flawed, but whatever.

M$/343 may be injecting it with a steady supply of money, but the franchise is still a shadow of its former self

It's casual players that made up the mass numbers of the populations for 2/3. This has always been the case.
Competitive halo was never the minority.Maybe MLG competitive people. But not just regular competitive people. Ranked playlists were always HUGEly populated. I still believe that taking out the 1-50 rank system was one of the bigger reasons on why halo took a nosedive.
What's next OP, a thread about you trying to find that GRD helmet?
The competitive community has always been the minority. Competitive playlists might have had a healthy population, but they've always been lower than the regular playlists. There were less competitive playlists, so the numbers looked big because they all congregated there, however there was always more choice for non-competetive play, therefore the majority was spread out between them.

You know, competitive.....

Reach sucks.
In terms of the amount of content and just being fun? Yes. But unfortunately it was really lacking in competitiveness/balance so everyone hates it.
