the one true God is Doctor Doom and we should all be worshiping him.
I can't stand a lot of stuff that 343i has done to the series. I haven't read many of the books myself. But the fact they turned the forerunners from a mysterious ancient race that you never really knew the intentions of to "Grr I am mean alien we shall fight" Pisses me off a lot to be completely honest. I know that they couldn't do strange ancient mysterious mixed with war again but I feel it would be a hell of a lot more bearable then what they've presented with us now.

But the fact they turned the forerunners from a mysterious ancient race that you never really knew the intentions of to "Grr I am mean alien we shall fight" Pisses me off a lot to be completely honest. I know that they couldn't do strange ancient mysterious mixed with war again but I feel it would be a hell of a lot more bearable then what they've presented with us now.I wish they had just moved on from the forerunners and the flood altogether and focused on the ramifications of the war with the Covenant. I understand some wanted to know more about the period 100,000 years ago, but I've always seen it as merely the set up for the main conflict. The forerunners fought the flood, they were losing, so they used the Halos to nuke the galaxy, now humanity rediscovered their stuff. That's the backstory, time for the actual plot.
