I for one run a Green/Blue Mana Acceleration deck based on forcing all of the mana out of my deck out so I don't get dead draws.

The whole ingame story is that you're a planeswalker and you're dueling another planeswalker, and as such you get multiple realms and planes involved in a duel.

Basically there are 5 colors that you can make use of.

Red is the color of Ambition, Aggression, Impulsiveness
Blue is the color of Knowledge, Progress, Control
Green is the color of Nature, Power, Primalness
White is the color of Lawfulness, Order, Fairness, Unity, etc
Black is the color of Power at All Costs, Destruction, etc

Haven't played for months since getting promoted to full time. Dont have time for it anymore.....i spend at least 2 grand in total.

My standard winning deck at the time was a mono red aggro and my EDH was based around the Niv Mizet combo.

My roommate got me into the game a few months ago.

It was fun while we were on the same playing field but the only way for him to have fun is to have maximum efficiency. That combined with him spending a shit ton more money on decks than I have made the game really not fun for me.

i hate playing any of the standard rulesets because i dont want to give in to the pay2win aspect of the game. back in high school i used to play street rules with a bunch of friends on fridays instead of doing FNM.

i always liked blue decks the best.
