Your saying this as if it's a fact.
We have nothing to go off of besides a vague description that could mean anything

Couple with the supposed script spoiler, I'm basing my opinions now on what we have.

If the game turns out amazing and it's completely different, I'll admit I'm wrong. But right now, I don't like it. Simple as that.
You mean the script spoiler that was confirmed to be fake by Frankie?

Because no game company has said something is fake when it later turns out true.

What else would he say? "Oh yeah, the script? It's true, we fucked up. Hope you still play!"

I never understood this idea that anything a developer says has to be true, especially on a AAA game still in development

What I'm really curious about, is how Blue Team ended up in their situation. And it makes me wonder a little bit.

We know that Chief is probably and most likely the only one getting those visions and warnings about the Guardians becoming active. The rest of Blue are there with him because they trust him absolutely. So, what if John ends up abandoning them for something? Up until this point, Blue Team pretty much meant Kelly, Linda, and Fred, until Chief came back into the picture. The vague description could only actually be counting Kelly, Linda and Fred.

I doubt John would abandon them for anything, even if he was getting "visions" telling him to go to places or do things. But it's probably likely that he might have led them into serious danger.

I'm curious as to what kind of danger. We've already seen a glimpse of a scene where Blue meets Warden Eternal. And they all lower their guns. It's hard to tell if John is trying to stop the Guardians from waking or actively working with them.

It's important to note colour schemes in Forerunners now. The Guardians are constructs, no doubt. And we know that usually when a Forerunner takes control of a construct, their colour changes to show allegiance. The Promethians under Librarian's control were blue. When Didact regained control, they switched.

In the scene with the Warden, the Guardian's notable spots of colour are still blue despite Warden being a military construct or servant of Didact.

Hard to tell who's a pal and who's not at this point.
