do any of you play/played it? i thought the original one was alright (im prolly gonna play the definitive ed too) but im glad i can see whats up with the spirit of fire

The story amounts to "humans and brutes shoot each other on the ark for four hours" - nothing happens at all. Campaign itself is really mediocre as the mission design is incredibly railroad-ey so you don't start getting to do the strategy part of the strategy game until after the halfway mark. The Awakening the Nightmare DLC campaign improves a lot in the design but has a similar problem RE story where nothing happens.

Game itself is pretty fun. I got a lot of enjoyment out of the AI battles. Season pass is worth it as the DLC leaders are pretty fun to play as.

It's a shame because literally everything else Atriox is in is great. Meanwhile we get Halo Wars 2 and he may as well have not even been in it for what it's worth.

Halo Wars 2 like Star Trek Wrath of Khan where they cut out the last half of the movie as well as all the scenes with Khan.


I'm convinced 343i just resent video games as a whole after Halo 4s reception and just conciously refuese to put any of their good story material in the games.

The latest book is literally Halo 5 ODST. It's actually good enough to almost make Halo 5 not look like the biggest mistake in all of human history, so why did they not make it into an actual game?

Yeah the bomb spawns in the tunnel by the lift, and the bomb plant is beside the stairs closest to the double air lift side. If that makes sense, because it's not where you think it would be between the two staircases

He’d always be using wall glitches and spawn camping where possible. ‬He didn’t really talk much and I’m all honesty could’ve just been someone like Assassin11D7 Memeing, but if you’re reading this, Fuck you saladin for bringing on the wave of Mexicans ruining Halo CE with their constant lame tactics and cheating. Even getting hit by one is a death sentence. There's a bit in TFOR where a marine gets hit by one and the needle explodes into millions of pieces of microshrapnel that cut through his body and leave him with mass internal bleeding. Supercombine is just overkill.
