The Reach AR did look terrible because it had so many pointless edges and angles on it. The rest of Reach was fine outside the drab colour palette

While I agree that 95% of the armors in 343's games are shit, there are some new designs that are decent. Recruit, Warrior, and Air Assault come to mind in Halo 4. H5 has some good armors too, like Centurion, Helljumper, and Helioskrill.
But then you get shit like Fotus, Scanner, and Seeker. How did these pieces of trash even get into the game?
