One of the artists from SPV3 stole the covenant terminal design from a friend. After he went to speak with them, he was offered a concept artist position. They're planning to make an ODST sequel.

It's not his death I'm opposed to because I can see why he was killed off, but rather that he went out in the most fucking pathetic way possible. The guy survived an impact from orbit, a fall from a four storey building where he proceeded to get dumped in a city full of mini-Orks and instead of finding a way out he proceeded to Sherlock his way round the occupied metropolis to find out what happened to his squad, arriving in time to secure one of the most important intelligence assets Humanity acquired during the war and then get everyone out alive only to get shot in the face after being captured by some random rebels? That's complete and utter horseshit.

I can understand killing him off because balancing people who want him fleshed out and people wanting him to continue being faceless is basically impossible but he deserved more fucking dignity than being executed by some random no-name insurrectionist.

NB was a decent book before getting to postwar stuff, and even then my faults are with 343's retarded ideas. Forbeck does a good job of getting the character of Buck right. It's just that Rookie's death was handled with the subtlety of the Game of Thrones S6 finale.

- Ordnance Drops are Care Packages so everyone and their mother could have a Sniper Rifle or Splaser and you didn't even need to get kills to get them. The timer recharged over time so bad players can get heavy weapons.

- The maps had Random Ordnance drop everywhere so map control was non-existent and made games even more of a clusterfuck than they already were.

- Custom Loadouts with Perks. Another CoD inspired addition that ruined the game.

- Armor Abilities came back cause everybody loved them

- You can spawn with Plasma Pistols and Plasma Grenades which completely ruined the vehicle combat entirely and speaking of vehicles...

- The vehicles, like Reach, were made of paper and probably even weaker than the ones in Reach. I never saw anyone take a normal Warthog, Ghost, or Mongoose ever even in objective modes.

- The DMR destroyed everyone and everything just like it did in Reach and there was no de-scope when being shot at so nobody was safe.

- The Boltshot in hands down THE most bullshit weapon to ever be put into Halo and the fact that they allowed people to spawn with a weapon that can do one-shot kills is absurd. It made weapons like the Shotgun, Sword, and Gravity Hammer useless. Why bother going for those when you can always spawn with a power weapon?

- The "Weapon Tuning" that 343 made came out 6 months too late when 95% of the population left.

- Forge mode was a completely broken mess. Magnets didn't work, going into monitor mode to player mode was annoying as shit all the time because you had to wait for the stupid lighting to work, the camera would bug out sometimes and kill you in monitor mode, and all the Forge maps were garbage.

- 343 screwed over the people that bought the Limited Edition of the game. They gave out the first map pack to everyone for free, apologized for it, and still let people that didn't buy it play it. All DLC playlists were taken out so good luck finding maps you paid for showing up in matchmaking.

God what else sucks about Halo 4 besides everything ? Oh yeah, they ruined Infection with their shitty Flood mode that was a retarded and handicapped version of Infection.

I'm not going to lie a good amount of this did annoy me, but it never broke the experience. Post-patch nothing in Halo 4 is worse than  Halo Reach's problems  or Halo 3's fucking gunplay (fuck that overrated game, if you nostagiafucks want something to obsess over at least let it be Halo 2)

Halo 3 is a good game though and there's many reasons why so many people played it for years after release compared to people who only play Halo for a couple weeks then never touch it again nowadays.

Ordnance shouldn't exist at all.

-Alot of things have loadouts quit blaming CoD for everything. The concept is alright in my book but the DMR, plasma nades and Plasma pistol and bold shot had no place in them. I'm going to blame CoD for influencing Halo because there was no other FPS game that was putting up population numbers as much as Halo and CoD throughout the years. Battlefield didn't start to become relevant until BF3 so it didn't have an impact on Halo as much as CoD did. Once the Halo population began to tank and CoD was taking all of it, 343 wanted to get some of those players back by adding CoD-influenced shit into Halo and it ended up hurting more than they thought. You never alienate your current fanbase by adding things they don't want to try to get another fanbase to like your product.

There was counters to Plasma Pistols? Okay, what were they? What counters 4-5 people running up to your vehicle with charged Plasma Pistol shots and Plasma Grenades? Tell me exactly what the counters are to that.

-Flinch was cancer, you pretty much had to play with stability

Weapon flinch shouldn't be in Halo at all. There is nothing wrong with De-scoping and it's the most balanced between the two but 343 decided to ditch that for whatever reason in Halo 4. Halo is one of the only games where you can fight back when you're being shot at across all ranges. Not having de-scope just makes the game less fun and all maps with wide open areas became no man's land because you get annihilated by DMRs.

-Vehicles were indeed annoyingly weak but that didn't stop them from tearing shit up

Every time I saw someone get into a vehicle, it would either:
A: Get EMP'd by Plasma Pistols
B: Get Lasered almost immediately
C: Taken down by Sniper Rifles

For the custom edition I downloaded the classic maps which have slight edits to them. So far the edits I know of are drivable wraiths with working dual plasma cannons like what they have in Halo 2, levels where you start off with the battle rifle, the assault rifle does more damage, there's the sentinel beam and the hunters have their beam cannon.

I don't get why Microsoft doesn't outsource the MCC to be ported over to the PC like what they did with Halo CE. A PC version of the collection would most likely sell better due to mods and the players would be able to fix the game. Apparently the MCC has a problem where vehicles and weapons don't appear despite them being setup on the map. So PC players who know what they're doing would most likely be able to create patches or at least host modded matches where these problems are fixed.

I'm thinking 343 is doing a "New Coke" with Halo. The story for New Coke is that Coke got rid of the original flavor and replaced it with "New Coke" which apparently was like Pepsi. The reason why is because Pepsi was threatening to out sale Coke so they came up with a new flavor to get more sales. As you expect the Coke people hated it which resulted in Coke loosing a lot of sales, so shortly latter they went back to the "classic" flavor which resulted in a shit load of sales. When they went back to the classic flavor they gained so many sales that Pepsi as of now isn't close to what they were when Coke introduced "New Coke".

So basically for Halo 343 is doing these changes which people don't like and when they go back to doing what Bungie did with Halo 2 and 3, that's going to result in a shit load of sales.

Before I seen the ending and I seen the channels name when I clicked the video, I was thinking that this was a joke which was making fun of 343. Everything the "immature player" was saying is 100% true about that gamemode. It's just like GTA Online where the new players are going to get destroyed due to the longer term players having far better weapons to use or people with deeper wallets. Then for the vehicle comment it's the same as well. There's going to be no enjoyment at all playing Warzone when you're facing an enemy team which has players who stocked piled tanks, mechs and the flying vehicles.
