Why is it in MCC BTB that players whore Halo 3 nonstop so that you dont play anyhing but fucking Rats Nets over and over, except for when the literal worst options possible show up like fucking Meltdown on Halo 4 or literaly any Combat Evolved option that isn't Blood Gulch, then they make sure to vote for that.

TheHaloForgeEpidemic's maps were great though.
You don't know how exited I was when they announced they got put into Matchmaking, although I'll admit the ones they chose were some of the less interesting ones. Island Complex should have gotten in.

Invasion was ruined the day Reach was released by only having 2 maps for it and never getting any updates or balance changes.

Invasion was still fun on Boneyard, Spire and the one-in-a-million match on Breakpoint. But yeah, it deserved better. Considering it never got any update, I think it still holds up rather well when compared to the rest of the game.

I remember playing those invasion maps before they went into matchmaking through A 3 Legged Goat, when they were still being tested. The people who made the maps were total garbage at the game, by no surprise. Broadcast and that big flat open one were liquid diarrhoea then and were still liquid diarrhoea when 343 put them in matchmaking

I think it still holds up rather well when compared to the rest of the game.

The big flat open one that if you were fast enough at the start of Phase 2 as an Elite, you could get into the one Spartan spawn room that had the sniper rifle because one the walls was on a delay spawn.

I used it unironically because nobody ever took it, and it absolutely shredded everything at close range.

I used it all the time whenever it was available. That thing melted everyone at close range and you could pick off people one by one without them knowing where you were at longer ranges.

I was number 2 in the world with kills with the Focus Rifle. The guy ahead of me had like 2000 more but I could tell that he boosted his stats for it.

Trying to fight against it in close range was impossible because your screen was blinded. It made a better shotgun than a sniper.

oh i forgot to say but my friend and i finally finished halo ce laso a few days ago. felt so satisfying to complete, even tho it took hours and hours to do.

he's actually doing halo 2 laso by himself, which i really have to give him props. he's tryna make me do it too and honestly it doesn't look IMPOSSIBLE buuut fuck that lol

also, i played a few btb matches. as always h3 gets chosen with the surprise h2a match

i'm trying to do h4 legendary under 3 hours

i originally thought the 3hr achievements were impossible but now having 1 laso under my belt regular legendary feels like a cakewalk

Remember the Plasma Pistol is your best friend.

CE requires far too many difficult glitches to do
2 is absurdly difficult because of Regret and for some people Gravemind as well
3 is easy outside The Ark which you kind of have to tryhard
ODST you can do just playing normally
4 I don't know, don't play that garbage

I spent about 3 hours to get a 21 minute run on Regret

and if you thought the nade jumps on T&R were hard, you should try the shield bump on Keyes. The drop on AoTCR is at least possible for a human being and even it's annoying to pull off.

i've done the bridge drop once, and that was for laso

we actually did the keyes bump on laso too. took us like 30-45min to get it

so i CAN technically do them, but it'll take equally as long just to master it and get it first try for the speedrun

All you need is any precision weapon and 1 power weapon to take out those high ranked Promethean bastards and you'll pass Halo 4 easily.
