Nah. The pro team seem like pretty cool guys, and if the employee leaks are to be believed, they get listened to about as much as anyone else and are basically just scapegoats for shitty design decisions.

The carbine is stupidly powerful without the capped fire rate. Unless you get double shotted, you'll almost always beat a BR with it

I remember that comment but not his name. He was one of the lead designers if I remember correctly. That man's career belongs in a fucking casual playlist.

I don't have a problem with the mechs; Halo's lore has had them since Fall of Reach, but why is Johnson specifically the leader for this? He in particular has had literaly nothing to do with any of Halo's mechs in any of the material before this. Hell, even a character like Chief Mendez, who used them to train the Spartan IIs would have been a more fitting leader, or that literal who from Halo Legends.
