The lore community looked into this and after contacting several sources, we found out through Stephen Loftus that it's not a Shadow, despite the fact it looks exactly like one.
Sure would be great if that was mentioned literally anywhere else other than Stephen Loftus saying it to cover up the fact they had a flying Shadow
