343 continues to disappoint me.

Right now are there any redeeming factors to Halo 5 that would make me want to keep it? I'm thinking about trading it in along with ESO for Mad Max.

I'm thinking of trading it because I won't be installing it again. Mad Max looks really fun, and I've been wanting to play it after watching FR recently..

Well I just remembered something , and Halo 5 might  actualy be going somewhere.
Remember the Cortana letters? They have alot more significance with the end of Halo 5.

Holy shit the amount of sweaty people who slapped their tryhard tighties on for this game has gotten a little silly as of late.

They captured the west- commander lochagos has been killed-we captured the ea-they've taken the fortress.

If your match sounds like this about two minutes in, that's when you know it's time to break out the scout warthogs.

I like all the tryhard crouchers mid-gunfight too. As if crouching will magically save them from bullet magnetism.

Actually in many cases crouch play will save you from death in many gun battles. It can also just freak an opponent that does not know about it out. If 343 made it so you could get a larger amount from arena tryhards would not be a huge problem in Warzone. And with that many clans are just trying to grind out for the new armor. I personally never go into warzone alone because I will always be in a new match when I start and it becomes way less stressful. Halo 5 is a very pro-based game so it is understandable that a more competetive audience is drawn to it. Same as the way casuals are drawn to COD.

First rule I learned about Halo 5 is that putting any kind of dodge mechanics in is completely fucking pointless when bullet magnetism exists to such an immense degree in this game. No point. You waste time dodging or by performing an action when you could instead be shooting.

Like thrusters for instance. I'm so glad that they either save my dead body by pushing it into cover or, when they actually do save me, the bullets clip through cover anyway.

But hey. I don't go into warzone alone. Usually with a couple folks. The game is unplayable alone. We usually end up topping the scoreboards for our team. And we're not even trying. It's pretty fucking sad that I can drive around in a scout warthog and get 20 splatter kills against a team of tryhards who've pushed us back to the core and are now spawn killing my team when they step out of the base.

Like, I'm fucking goofing around and still carrying my team. I love how there's no middle ground. It's either sweaty tryhards or thumbless rocks.

And, no, crouch play does nothing. But it is funny to see some sweaty kid trying so immensely hard that he has to crouch spam a passenger in a scout warthog shooting at him.

Although I wouldn't say this game is competetive to much degree anyway. People only think it's hard because 90% of people grenade spam and use the smg.

Although I wouldn't say this game is competetive to much degree anyway. People only think it's hard because 90% of people grenade spam and use the smg.

That's some advanced Meta right there. It took Halo PC 12 years for that style of play to become the most popular in clan scrims.

God forbid we have vehicle levels that are something like the massive assault we see in Tip of The Spear's background and some space ones like in the Reach campaign beta video.

But yeah. If it were fairly small, I'd have probably kept it. But fuvking 70gb for a game that has barely any content and a campaign I have no intentions of replaying (I've done legendary and got the collectibles) isn't worth it. Especially when I had to uninstall Metro Redux and Far Cry 4 to get it - plus I have some BC games I'll be installing soon.

Tell me how Mad Max is, looks like a lot of fun.

True indeed, and I wish it played more into the game than it did. There were moments like when John snapped at Locke or some idle dialogue where he get's a little bit irritated at Blue Team when they discuss Cortana, but that's all really.
Outside of those there were definitely emotional moments but not much other than those in the way of John being emotionally compromised.

Oh god that vehicle steering Mr Dancing Potato. For the area you get to pick a vehicle body I crashed into a couple of walls on the way out. I am thankful for driving games like GTA which has power steering.

I like the handling, though to be fair it did take me a bit to get the hang of it

I love the vehicle based religion they created or him. In their world vehicles would be their savors due to them being the main theme of the movies and most of all transportation. A guy like Max would be some type of hero due to his abilities in one.

Also poor Max just can't get a brake when it comes to vehicles. In the 2nd movie he crashes his car which he blows up and he also gets into a crash with that truck. In the shitty 3rd movie his wagon gets stolen and in this game poor Black On Black gets stolen and scraped.

What's sad is that I know how shallow Battlefront is, but I'm still able to enjoy playing that game an hour each day. With Halo 5 on the other hand after one match I stop playing due to how boring it is. The kill times are bad enough but what really does it is the aiming. Unless the person is standing still or coming at me, I have one hell of a time firing at them. For the campaign I can aim easily, but for the MP that's when it goes to hell. I take it the aiming is like that due to the tryhards 343 listened to?

For my car body I choose the last one on the right.

Chum Bucket is such a scumbag due to that nitro test jump. He treats the car he is making like it's the best thing since Half Life 2, but he has you go off a jump which does a lot of damage to it.
