Simple: One is a campaign mission and the other is a lame commercial featuring a weapon skin that you dont even have to use if you don't like it. Sure 343 have been doubling down on the dumb ads lately but thats not the whole game.

It's not so much what it is, it's what it represents with regards to 343i's attitude to Halo.

It's not like they don't actualy take Halo seriously. We saw that they clearly do from the vast majority of the Halo 5 ad campaign (even though it ended up completely misrepresenting the story)
The way I see it, they just wanted to do something different for the minor post launch ads instead of the same tired ones that every game ever does, and the result was just not good.

Its a stupid update, yes, but its kinda silly to complain about as well. Sep7 is the only place complaining about these silly things.

That's probably because what's left of the community is taking their assfucking joyfully rather than screaming for help because they're already dead inside.

"stupid update" and " kinda silly to complain" don't go well together. To break it down in short without going off on a rant, 343 put out an unfinished game plain and simple. And rather than sticking to their promise about putting out free maps, they took the "in the small writing" route and instead of actually giving us new maps they gave us the same maps with different lighting and called it a day.

I don't care about the weapons skins. Cosmetics are cosmetics. But like the other fellow said. It's what it stands for.

And really it was only two unique environments, a bunch of crumbling temple structures, and Sunaion; which didn't seem like much of a city teeming with life. Still, it all looked very pretty, but compared to the beauty of Delta Halo's ruins, less life-like. Hard to describe.

Agree, the most alien-looking for sure. Could have used some civilians running around the chaos on Sunaion though.

A billion light render "new" maps with sprinkles of bland forge maps that look like pre rendered setups with little to no textures?

A thousand more ARs and AR skins to wade through preventing me from actually unlocking anything I'd like or actually use in warzone?

More super cool weapons and vehicles to use in warzone only to spawn in front of a tank or get sniped and instantly lose them because weapons have wills of their own, like the One Ring, abandoning me in seconds because I'm not their one true master?

Missing gametypes added months after the community died?

That's probably because what's left of the community is taking their assfucking joyfully rather than screaming for help because they're already dead inside.
