I still don't see why people dislike this game for anything other than campaign and lacking infection (BTW there is an infection emblem already in game so it is most likely being added). The gameplay is fantastic, it runs smoothly and is the first Halo I can play online coop and have 0 latency for any player. Warzone is fun, fair and does not at all feel competetive unless you get a full team and Arena is exactly what competetive Halo should be. It feels like Halo and does gameplay perfectly. Idk about other people but I have not felt the need to play the campaign over and over again in any Halo game, so it's not like it is such a bad thing that campaign was lackluster. And then there is more content every month for free. I just don't get why people dislike it.

Warzone is pretty garbage when people play it the way it's intended to be played: when people pull REQs out their ass every chance they get.  Thankfully, I can successfully play most matches without feeling the need to purchase a single power weapon.

This is the best Halo multiplayer since 3, though.  It's got an awkward initial learning curve, but I think it does a pretty good job at catering towards both casual and competitive players.  I think the game is fairly approachable by thumbless kids, but still has good underlying competitive mechanics and a well-established skill gap.  It's not slow as dirt and horribly balanced like Reach, and isn't a garbage CoD clone like Halo 4.

While the customs need more to them, the forge is so ridiculously amazing: the fact that you can forge an empty space canvas into a Sandtrap replica is ridiculous.  While it's frustrating to see a ton of content come with CUs, it's pretty awesome how obvious it is that they've been listening to every inch of the community over the smallest details.

Warzone is very rarely fair; 19/20 games involve one team being curbstomped. The map design is awful, mainly due to how cramped they are for the player count and vehicles, and the grenade spam in the bases is just ridiculous. THe AI involvement is simply pathetic, and I can't understand who thought it was a good idea to make a game mode designed around encouraging spawnkilling. Warzone feels tacked on based on what they had after making arena and forgetting they needed a big team battle mode.

Arena is marhinally better because it's obvious the game was designed around it, but the terrible maps offset any advantage that has. On top of that, the supposedly "skill based" matchmaking seems to like placing me with the top-tier players who are way better than me. GG.

Idk about other people but I have not felt the need to play the campaign over and over again in any Halo game, so it's not like it is such a bad thing that campaign was lackluster.
