Were you playing MCC recently before this? The game had a massive quit problem with players, I played roughly five-seven matches every day for a week and I can count the number of times I had a game where no one quit the whole week on one hand and still have fingers left over. I quit too because I knew there was no consequences when I leave a game where it was me against 8 in BTB because the rest of my team quit on me; the leave button warned of a quit ban but I never saw one. I'm not defending the incredibly strict punishment we have now, but it was getting really out of hand before.

I've likely played significantly more MCC matchmaking then you have. Much of the quitting lessened when the september update came out. Quitting is still rampant because of lopsided games. Full teams should match teams, that's how it worked in halo 2 and 3. Nobody enjoys playing against a full team of halo 3 50s that play like their life is on the line. If I'm in a 3v4 or a 5v8 against a full team, I'm dipping, I shouldn't be punished heavily because the system does not give singles and duo teams a fair chance to play a game.

Also the other day, Jono and I had THREE straight games where half the people in the game were kicked out at the start of the match, turning the games into 3v5s or 2v4s. It's a good thing this happened before this update otherwise I would have been banned for 24 hours because this four year old games is still a steaming pile of dog shit.

No one at 343 plays this game because they would see this and not result in such outrageous kneejerk reactions.

This new social system also isn't very good. I had CE, 2, 2A, and 3 selected and was only playing halo 3 other than one game of flag on Remnant.  Pretty obvious matchmaking only looks for people with atleast one matching game with you and you get forced to play whatever they have. And if you don't have halo 3 picked than have fun searching.

I don't doubt that you do play more, I only recently got back into Halo cause I resubscribed to XBL. I'm just saying that before this, I didn't think there was a quit ban at all despite the warnings on the Leave screen saying that there was. I'm sure 343 will hear about this new system in their MCC feedback thread and I'm also sure that there match composer will likely be more refined in the future, for now I'm just happy I can choose to make my own BTB playlist with Halo 2A, 3, & 4.

Yeah that is really dumb. Valhalla wasn't fun to play back in Social Slayer, and that was 5v5.

The MCC population is so small that you will match with the same people over and over again for multiple matches and recognize their names, playstyle, and other people they’re partied up with.

As a Needler connoisseur, the Halo 3 Needler reigns supreme over these pretenders. Boomdeyadah can vouch for me on this.

Last Resort & Rat's Nest is also in 4v4 with Valhalla; I know there's plenty of them laying around but I really wish those maps were guaranteed BR starts. If the enemy gets map control it's really hard to break out with a magnum and AR. Valhalla doesn't even have a lot of them on the map, if you're spawning in the cliffs you're fucked.

Me and about 13 other people all just got quit banned because the game lagged out in a black screen/host migration. I know this because there was a black screen/host migration a few seconds before the second one that kicked me out and nobody had moved from the first one.

Meh was only 5 minutes for me. Really dumb that I get a ban regardless of the length for something out of my control. I Imagine someone was hit with an 1 hour+ one too.

The game doesn't even show up on my game history on waypoint (CTF on Blood Gulch). lol I guess everyone did get kicked out.

It got worse as the game progressed, it was 8v7 and two of my teammates left near the beginning and another two were AFK, I was the only guy on my team that went positive and got 30 kills that match.

But seriously folks, FUCK LAST RESORT.

Pretty good, too bad you got fucked over by the stupid Slayer spawns on this map and had the whole enemy team spawn right next to you

That's just how MCC is. Me and Boomdeyadah will get 25+ kills each and have to carry our team against an entire team while our guys just dick around and go 5 and 30 or go afk the whole match. It literally feels like a 2v8 sometimes when the other team is not even good because they're killing our guys instead of us.
