I don't know about you, but the fact that 343i can't come up with original names like "Reach" and "Harvest" is a sure sign to me of how far the franchise has fallen.

I never thought using straight-up English words for planet names was a good idea, but that's just me.

I like "Sunaion." You know it's a good name when you can't pronounce it.

Idk, I think I'd rather have a Sangheili planet have a non-English name. Sunaion sounds just as weird as Doisac or Palamok.

Yeah, exactly. This is like when people were all butthurt over Palpatine being named "Sheev" when Star Wars having stupidly-named characters isn't anything out of the ordinary.

For reals though, like SpartanT said, its a Sangheili planet...obviously its going to have a non-English name. Most planets owned by former or loyal Covenant species have non-English names. Don't compare them to UNSC worlds.
