I'm pretty sure MS doesn't like the flood because they're pretty much the only reason the trilogy got the ratings they did, so they won't put them in because then they get that kid friendly T rating

I thought the old rating was for the red-purple spray that happened whenever somebody got hit in a Bungie title.

But it is a dumb enough reason that it wouldn't surprise me if true.

On top of that the older Halo games, especially Halo 2, the friendly NPCs and main characters cussed more back then than they do now. In Halos 1-3 you can blow off the limbs of Combat Forms, but in 2 and 3 is when you can completely destroy an entire Combat Form's body and sometimes it will leave a massive blood splat on the ground.

Halo should just be 18+

Much better than Halo 5's plot. It has its faults as per usual, and definitely felt incomplete. Let has like 3 lines of dialogue, and you never get to "Know Your Enemy". It's suggested that content was cut from a few lines.

I miss this design, Halo 6 should totally implement them as a variant rather than have all Guardians look the same

What the hell? It's like half a story with the way it ends. It's one GOOD half of a story (other than 343i's obesion with giving their charachters Watch Dogs hacking powers) but still just half.

How anyone found this multiplayer passable is beyond me.

It became good after the update. At least the gunplay was fixed then, and we also got Heavies for Big Team and Legendary slayer.

The MCC version is a hell of a mixed bag however, 5v5 plays wonderfully on some maps and on others it feels like MW2 Ground War on Rust.

Initial thoughts on Halo Wars 2 are pretty disappointing but unsurprising from the beta.

I'm seriously disappointed in the unit count. HW2 has fewer units on screen than the first game and these games are a generation apart.

Here's HW2's max units. There's only 27 units on screen and it's already as max. These units are also the ones that take up the least amount of unit population.

So the game is shit just like the first game?

What his finaly got on my last nerve with 343i is the BUNGiE tier holes they have been poking in the lore for a while. When they first took over they were so adamant about fixing up the dammage BUNGiE did to their own canon but now they are doing the same thing.

-Jerome and Red Team's Mjolnir armor having the abilities of MK VI for some reason
-Hurragok having some kind of diety-like tech powers that can make forerunner slipspace drives out of pocket lint and a subway coupon
-1000 degree Spartan knives that can cut through literaly anything
-Making Halsey and Anders even more overpowered with tech than the damn Hurragok
-Literaly everything about the Domain from Halo 5 and beyond
-Halo Escalation
- >Fall of Reach The Animated Series

All things considered, this could set up a decent story for Halo 6.

the best console RTS i've ever played had a maximum of 16 units you could deploy on the battlefield at any given time

unit count is irrelevant when it comes to determining how good an RTS is
