The in-game announcer is alright, the movie announcer voice is dumb-but it's very clearly tongue-in-cheek, they are taking the piss.

I looks cool on the Covenant but not on humans. Plus, it makes the glass in forge impossible to see throuh.

Which is cause they don't give a crap about the resolution for the beta, since it's all about the gameplay.

And the fact they need to keep it a manageable download size.

Next-gen is just used to describe the concept of something supposedly a step foward, which both consoles are, just look at Shadow of Mordor for proof

Except nothing we've seen of Halo 5 looks "next gen". And lights and lens flares aren't "next gen".

Shadow of Mordor is a terrible example. It's a cross-gen title.

I was referring to the well-known gulf in quality between X1/PS4 and the last gen versions. Hence why I used SoM as an example because it demonstrates the difference in generations. Dumbass

Doesn't seem too horrible. Obviously, if there are negative feelings toward the game as of now, we can just put in our input as soon as we play it. Overall, I think it looks like it has potential to be pretty fun.
