Goodness gracious, great balls of lightning!
September 22, 2009 was when Halo 3 ODST was released. It brought us one of the best OSTs made by Marty, more maps for Halo 3, and a new cooperative game mode called Firefight.

I preordered the game specifically to play as Sgt. Johnson in Firefight. Despite this Halo game being my least favorite, I still had some good times with it in Firefight with friends going for Endure and the other scoring achievements.

What was your favorite memory with ODST?

I got the game like a week early and spoiled the story to all of my friends.

I'm pretty sure ODST didn't introduce any new multiplayer maps, it just happened to include all the already released map packs in the multiplayer disc.

My favorite memory from ODST wasn't from the launch year or the many fun times I had doing vidmaster challenges, but from one night in freshman year of college when I decided to solo the campaign for old times' sake instead of sleeping. Loved this game- I even got my $60 worth because I used the multiplayer disc so much.

It included the second half of Mythic maps.

Longshore, Citadel, and Heretic.

The multiplayer disc came with all the maps from Halo 3 and the new maps that came with it were Longshore, Citadel, and Heretic.

No, I did the same with Reach a year later.

The angel agreed to trade a set of white wings for the head of another demon. Overjoyed, the demon killed one of his own and plucked the head right off its still-warm body.

The angel then led the demon to heaven, where he underwent centuries of the cruelest tortures imaginable. Finally, the pain was so great that he lost consciousness - at which point his dark wings turned the promised shade of white.
oh man, i finished it on the same day i got it, my first Halo too

I use to think it was shit because 'mug master chief' and 'muh multiplayer'

Now it probably ranks as my second-favourite game in the series overall.

I remember a few years back I fucked about Mombasa Streets with a couple of friends for a whole night. Probably one of the lat times I played it with others.

Well, I only got it last year due to being extremely poor and cheap, and playing Halo Custom Edition until 2010.

what I disliked
I absolutely hated the effort they went to in order to make the Wraiths nearly impossible to drive. Literally all it did was slightly prolong the amount of time it took me to steal those fuckers. If the developers didn't want me driving one because that makes it "too easy," then they shouldn't have them there in the first place, or figured out some harder enemies.

I also hated how long it took me to find some of the items to investigate. I was fine with them being in buildings and whatnot, but the Sniper stuck in the powerlines was objectively bullshit and I wasted 2 hours looking around that area for it.

I just wish the Engineers weren't so ridiculously overpowered, because it practically forced the Player to have a Plasma Pistol equipped at most times on Legendary. They were that annoying, I didn't have any guilt in sending them to their graves despite the Voice logs and the later part of the game trying to make the player empathize with them

I loved VISR, and the Automag was pretty fun to use. The Weapon storages were pretty nifty, and the variation in Power Weapons/Mongooses available was a nice touch. Firefight was pretty fun too, although the Brute Chieftains having immortality was a bit overpowered, especially when there is no way to avoid their hammer swings in laggy matches.
