I really wish they'd stuck with the plan of having Arby missions as you going and murderising humans before they decide people wouldn't like it.

The Tartarus fight is the same as any Destiny fight. Just no health bars.

I neither fear, nor despise.
All it did to me was get me hyped for the next installment. I never thought it was abrupt or out of place.

If that's the message a 12/13 year old got, I feel real sorry for the idiots who didn't get the message.
This ^

At least we knew there would be a Halo 3. And when I heard the announcement at E3, and it started the teaser trailer........I was HYPED!

Halo 2 didn't bother me honestly, I think I was 11 when I played it.

No not the Gondola segment, the entire vehicular assault
I will only agree with this because seeing flood driving vehicles was cool, Enforcers crushing things was awesome, and gunning down Flood infantry made me feel happy. Until they would pop out on Legendary with Rockets and you'd die again, and again, and again trying to move perfectly.

The Flood tank though
When "Reclaimer" kicks in, ITS ON!!!

I found QZ's Vehicle section to be tedious.
driving paper mâché vehicles and was firing peas against seagulls
Did you even play Reach and Halo 4?
Yes, but Halo 2 vehicleplay is so boring and such a chore, Reach and 4 make it feel as if you are actually driving a military vehicle, not either a soapbox or a paper airplane
Halo 4 barely had vehicle combat they were so weak. Only the Mantis was formidable.

And Reach introduced "turret overheating" which annoys the crap out of me on a Warthog.

It's a useful mechanic, without overheating you've lost vs a warthog

Nope. Grenades, heavy weapons, or stay in cover and get some well placed shots in.

Being on a stationary warthog turret can be an easy way to get killed sometimes, overheating just makes that worse.

It wasn't really a problem in Halo CE and Halo 3 from my experience, provided you didn't have a terrible team that wasted your base's anti-vehicle weapons. People who grab the Missile Pod at the start of the match and shoot aimlessly on Valhalla deserve a beating. Even still, you can use frags to flip hogs(excluding Reach and 4), board the vehicle, or HS/Teamshoot the occupants.

The only warthog that would well deserve an overheat is the Gauss Hog. You can't headshot the gunner, it's a 1 hit kill on just about everything, can fire quickly, and isn't too hard to aim.

What if you totally run out of ammo? Then you can't shoot or run

I've spent enough time 1v1 with my bro to have been pinned down a fair few times by him in a hog, when i'm out of ammo because his strat is to head straight for the best vehicles, which I duly dispatch at the cost of a plasma, once in 7 or so kills on him I run dry and he pins me down

Look for a weapon; run from cover to cover, get killed, or camp until he gets off the turret.

If he has a teammate, you're probably dead. So don't waste your ammo.

How do you completely run out of ammo? That's pretty impressive really as that next to never happens. Also, you can still run without ammo, movement still works.

Which game/map?

There's pretty much always a place to run to that vehicles can't do crap on most maps, and weapons should respawn fast enough so that this isn't an issue.
