halfway through root kanal

there was this part where i almost screwed myself when i quick-saved in a tight spot
but i made it out
with my skills

then there was a part where i was trying to go through a door, but i kept getting caught on something, and i suffered a couple of deaths because of it--i hope that's not gonna be a recurring theme

gonna take a break for now

Mmm alot of barnacles in one part.

Use the barrels

The middle chunk of the game outside City 17 and Nova Prospekt is boring as fuck but the rest is pretty good IMO.

Wait till you get to episode 1 and you're stuck in that dark tunnel with no fucking light, or flares. I HATE that part.

I own the game but have yet to play it. Where does the lost coast fit into it?

A lot of games dude, I've just never played the "big" games. Shadow of the Colussus, Half Life, Heavy Rain, and a lot more.

I've just sort of stuck to what I like. I actually play a lot, at least to me I play a lot.

i don't know if anyone can relate, but this is definitely one of those get-stuck-in-a-room-for-awhile-trying-to-figure-out-what-to-do-when-the-solution-is-practically-right-in-front-of-your-face games

like, "what do i do here... uh... uh... ... ... uhhhhh... ... ... OH, i can climb on that pipe--duh"

an annoying thing i noticed about the ladders, though--sometimes the controls get confused, and i have to tilt the stick up when i'm trying to go down

i figured it might've been better on PC, maybe--that's what i always just assume whenever i come across a little issue

SotC and Heavy Rain are hardly "big" games.

No, it's on PC too (although the loading time is directly related to your computer's processing speed). How it works is whatever segment you're in, the ones ahead and behind you are preloaded (in case you go back for something, like HL1 had you do occasionally). Beats sitting at a loading screen for missions on other games though.

Not a console thing. The game is connected from start to end.

The game is fairly nice. It isn't really innovative, but I found it enjoyable.
