The Trademark was cancelled.
Whether that means they're scrapping it and making something new or if they're done for is up to debate.

I know about the Trademark, but Sony confirmed the game wasn't cancelled.

the trademark lapsed. It's happened once or twice before to TLG. They're still working on the game and will renew the trademark if they haven't already
