All I remember is having fun memories of trying to play Halo 3 on it while it caused blue to be horribly smudged all over the screen for some reason

I do remember getting an HDTV to replace our old CRT TV and then I played Mass Effect 2 and actually noticed the anti aliasing and tried to get rid of it because it was bothering me so much

anti-aliasing looks nicer, but it's harder to render
aliasing looks shitty, but it's easier to render

unless you have a good system, in which case, you always want AA

That's around the same time mine died. The colors started to fuck up. Darker colors were much darker and whites looked pinkish/red. It was annoying.

Playing games that had night-time levels was a fucking nightmare, even with the brightness turned up it still looked awful.
