Why does every halo related thread end up with an argument
You guys are making the argument that this will make kids play Halo.
Halo could be so much better if it was I dunno darker, although I don't really think you can convey the suffering in war through a video game. Plus they need to keep it teen friendly or else sales will drop

I don't see why a game couldn't pull it off.Didn't one CoD game have a Russian roulette scene at one point?

How is the rating "lol" worthy when Halo never was M rated materiel to begin with?
How many of us played Halo CE or Halo 2 before we were 18?Everyone?K then

So why the fuck would I want to play them.
I'm not saying I was right for following the ESRB when I was a kid. I just don't think it's complicated as to the reasons why. I didn't like to watch rated-R movies when I was a kid, either--because I knew that they weren't for me.As I said on the first page--I don't even care about it anymore. As far as I'm concerned, what games a kid plays should be left up to his or her parents.
Halo has nothing worse that Metroid Prime yet one is rated M and the other is T. And E10 was such a contrivance.
