just make a mega thread already
Peronally I'd get a 250GB SSD to go along with your HDD. SSDs are far faster and far less likely to fail than HDDs.Also, you should probably get a different mobo so you won't have to update the BIOS before using.
-That GPU looks like it was taken off the market. I'm more of a fan of EVGA cards, too.-I have that mobo. I like it, but it's pretty pricey.-Buy your Windows key on /r/microsoftsoftwareswap for much less, or get a lesser version of Windows and then upgrade for free. Or get a free key through college/a friend who goes to college.

Well, I edited your build a bit. It's a tad pricey but that's because this actually factors in the GPUhttp://pcpartpicker.com/p/JKzdLk
Thanks husky, but $900 is way over my limit.

Isn't Windows 10 like free?
You may not be able to run games like FO4 or TW3 on high settings, but the GPU is pretty decent.
Is my new gpu good?https://pcpartpicker.com/user/EnderWolf/saved/KjWwrHI've decided to follow your guys advice and get win10 from somewhere else.

It's alright, but I would go down to 8gb of ram and maybe get a slightly cheaper i5, and then get a better gpu.Yeah, in like a year or so, you'll want to get more ram and maybe a better cpu; but if you are on a budget then go for a better gpu because that's where you'll see the most performance for your money.

The 4460 is around $170ish and does more than enough for what you seem to want. It's a great cpu.
