I wasn't sure if I'd like Fallout or Metro at first, since I'd never really played anything in a post apocalyptic setting before. But they ended being some of my favourites, which is nice.

Its actually pretty story-driven, even if Issac never talked in the first game.

Not really.

Its actually pretty story-driven, even if Issac never talked in the first game.

I wish game developers would come up with a reason as to why the Player's character doesn't talk. Like Iad their voice box removed from a freak accident, born a mute or had unfixable trama.. something

Black Ops 2

I gave the game so much shit for going futuristic and everything. I thought it was gonna be worse than the first Blops but I ended up enjoying it as much as CoD 4 and MW2. Probably my second favorite CoD.

Far Cry 3

I played it at first and I didn't like it. I took a break from it then went back to it and played it nonstop for around 2 weeks and enjoyed the shit out of it.

Battleblock Theater

Friends bought it and wanted me to get it too. I thought the game looked silly and not enjoyable. I got it and got slightly addicted to it, especially the Ball game mode and Capture the Horse. Shit was fun as hell.

Command and Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath

I thought it would suck because it was an RTS on a console. But man, this game is easily the best console RTS game ever. The controls are fantastic, the graphics are great, and just everything else about this game is superb.

Dragon Age 2, going through the whole series now and I'm finding myself having more fun with this, then I did in DA:O, though the first game was much more engaging in a sense of lore and urgency. The characters are great, much more likeable, especially Varric and hell the combat did take a stoop but it's still enjoyable.

My only gripe is the amount of reused locations.

The humour is also great xD

It's as simple as putting you in the protagonist; the devs do that to make you feel connected to the character as if they were you.

Dark Souls

Played a demo of the Undead Asylum, died from the boulder, the skeletons, and the Asylum Demon, had no idea what to do, thought the controls were a mess, and generally just wanted to hack and slash my way through. I gave it up until last year when I bought Dark Souls 1 & 2 during a Steam sale, and now the series is one of my favorites.
