Not just beat--completed. You got everything. You did everything. Everything that matters, anyway!

Personally, if I'm going by the strictest of definitions (which are my favorite), none of us have probably completed any game. There's often a lot more to games that we tend to consider--did you read every single dialogue box in the game, for example? Did you take into account the fact that some NPCs have different things to say under certain conditions?

Or does completing a game only entail collecting everything there is to collect? If so, do you need to have the maximum capacity of all those collectibles? Do you want to craft ninety-nine golden apples in Minecraft, or is having just one enough?

If we're going by light definitions, here's what I've completed (knowingly):

Super Smash Bros.
Super Smash Bros. Melee (basically, all I need to do is fight one million fights, and I'm set)
Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS
The Legend of Zelda (working on Second Quest)
Zelda II: The Adventure of Link (along with NG+)
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask (save for a couple of Heart Pieces, because they're tedious and unimportant)
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (except for the stupid Tingle Tuner shit)
Guitar Hero
Guitar Hero II (yes--I even gold starred every single song in the game at one point)
Super Mario World

And a few more, but those are my biggest achievements, I guess you could say.
I'm definitely a completionist.

Current missions:
Catch every Pokémon.

And though I'm not playing it right now, some day, I'll collect everything in Super Metroid.
Without a guide. Because that's how I beat the game.

Got pretty close to completing FFX. I only needed to kill Penance and get a few Celestial Weapons.
Getting those last few celestial weapons is fucking impossible...one requires a time of 0.00 in a chocobo race where you cant fully control the damn chocobo.

FFIX too, only, this weapon is probably the hardest one to obtain in the entire series. You would have to know the game inside out and have some luck. You have to get to the last dungeon in the game in under 12 hours. The game is 4 discs long.

It's 99% hammer-ons, once you get the rhythm down then it isn't the end-all-be-all song of the game. Now Raining Blood can go fuck itself, those triplets always trip me up.

I beat the game on hard the first time around using a controller, as I had borrowed the game. I have to say that the 360 controller is way better for GH than the Dualshock 3. Anything really fast was nearly impossible either way.

Triggers actually make it easier. They're longer, and thanks to pressure-support, you don't have to pull them all the way for it to register. And, as you said, you won't be writhing in pain with carpal tunnel after every song.

I pulled off the tremolo stuff just fine, but it does require a lot of practice.

eh, i endured the dualshock's tininess for years

i guess it's just a personal thing, because for me, if i don't pull the trigger all the way down, it just feels wrong
'cause if i pull it all the way down, it actually feels like i'm hitting the note--a sensation that i kinda need to have

that's something i never had to worry about with the dualshock 2

I don't aim for 100% Achievements or to Platinum Trophy a game.

Jet Set Radio future and GTA San andreas

I think I've completed base AC II in the stricter sense; let all alternative custscenes play out (ignore & execute all QTEs), collected all collectibles, listened to mission specific unique dialogue, as well as 'real world' dialogue, completely rebuilt Montereggioni, got every achievement and all that jazz.

Otherwise I only got all achievements in Prince of Persia and AC I. That's it as far as I know.

Uhh... Skyrim, Oblivion, Mass Effect, Golden Sun, Fallout 3, Halo 3.

There are a few others, like RTS that I completed, but I wouldn't say they count here becasue it's usually just the story mode without collectables or addons.

I don't like 100% games. If I need something to pad out the time I spend playing it, then it means I no longer enjoy it.
