Spongebob: Battle For Bikini Bottom

The best underrated game ever. The love and care that went into that game was amazing.

did you ever play the Movie one? i loved that game
Yeah I played that one. It was like BFBB, but I liked BFBB more. You could only do so much with a movie-based game and BFBB had more freedom and things to do than the movie game.

Jak and Daxter (Playstation 2) - well known but not as much as Ratchet/Sly, for some reason...

Spider-man 64 (Nintendo 64/Playstation One) - possibly the best Spider-man game ever.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (Playstation 3/Xbox 360 version) - quite good, fit in with previous continuity fairly well, lots of costumes and content.

Extreme G (Nintendo 64) - Extremely charming racer, back in the day. IIRC, it even has a combat mode, where you can battle friends in split-screen.

Digimon Rumble Arena 2 (Playstation 2/Gamecube/Xbox) - I remember keeping my Playstation 2 on for days at a time because I didn't have a memory card. Awesome "Smash Brothers" feel with a Digimon skin to it.

Dunno.
Its getting to the point where most of what I play is niche weeb shit.

I think Byrne is the only other person I've seen talk about Golden Sun. Which Ninty needs to bring back.
Glad Fire Emblem is getting as big as it is. No one talked about it before Awakening.

I really liked Gravity Rush on Vita. First game I platinum'd. Hopefully going to PS4 will make the series more popular.
Also Transistor was a really great game. Probably my favorite indie title so far.

I'm trying to figure out how GR would even be able to be ported to the PS4 without all of the Vita's gimmicky shit?

It'll definitely be weird but the ds4 has six axis so I'm assuming it'll use that. I just want to see it get supported. World was really unique and the art style was pretty.

Destruction Derby was pretty fun. In those reminiscing threads about older games, it's never brought up though.

Same With Advance Wars. It's a pretty neat Turn-based Strategy game marketed towards children.

The angel agreed to trade a set of white wings for the head of another demon. Overjoyed, the demon killed one of his own and plucked the head right off its still-warm body.

The angel then led the demon to heaven, where he underwent centuries of the cruelest tortures imaginable. Finally, the pain was so great that he lost consciousness - at which point his dark wings turned the promised shade of white.

When I was younger I thought harvest moon was pretty cool.

Uh, there was this Jurassic park game where you built the park. It was more funny then fun, because a disaster (a tornado or a earthquake) would happen all the fucking time and it would break the cages.

I redact my last post somewhat. There are some games I love that no one ever really plays. Many, actually.

One of them is a fighting game called Ehrgeiz for the PS1. It's a fighting game with a standard arcade mode, which is very fun on its own, but it also has a neat little dungeon crawler mode. It contains special appearances from a few FF7 characters, as well, but they served as the only real reason anyone ever picked the game up.

Solid game, though. Lots of fun characters, even if a lot of them were just expies of Tekken characters.

There's also Jade Cocoon for the PS1, which is essentially Final Fantasy and Pokémon combined. You go about exploring heavily forested areas and capture these freaky insectoid creatures in cocoons that you can use to help fight for you. They get stronger as they level up, and you can even "evolve" them by having your wife merge two of them together. Monsters can be merged infinitely, so there's virtually no limit to the number of monsters that you can create.

The music is fantastic, and the art was created by Studio Ghibli. Seriously.

All the dialogue spoken by important characters in the game is voice-acted. And pretty well, too, if you ask me, but I'm not the greatest judge of that.

Oh, and the game uses Resident Evil controls when exploring. Kind of odd, but it works.
