Game(s) you hated at first, but grew to love

Probably A Link to The Past.
At first I didn't really like the setting or what I was doing and as a kid it was hard to play, but after I got past the second temple I was growing to like it and then when I entered Dark World I quickly grew to love the experience.
There were talking trees, TALKING TREES. It was a new thing for me.

That game was probably my best matchmaking experience, would make friends every day there.

Destiny. Gunplay was solid but the story and leveling process was horrible. Thought I was going to stop playing it once Master Chief Collection came out but low and behold I ran Vault of Glass and never looked back. It is probably the game I have spent the most time in and I am a major fan of the game.

the first one i played was 3 and i hated the interface and tutorial level. i got new vegas on a whim when it released and really liked it. i ended up putting well over 1000 hours into it. after that i played 3 again and liked it a bit more, then i played the first two and liked them a lot. for the main series id say FONV>FO2>FO1>FO3.
