They charged my credit card 2 months ago without my permission and I fought with their support for an hour to get a refund, 2 months later I get my fucking refund and its in my PSN wallet and not my credit card account. Then I get on their chat again and the guy claims he's looking at records of my support chats and I said it was okay to refund my wallet. Too bad I have fucking screenshots proving otherwise and he STILL tries to Jew me and after another half hour of back and forth he finally said he'll make sure it goes back in my bank account  but it will take ANOTHER 2 months.

when i bought my xbox one i spilled coke on my controller and they offered to send me a new one completely free-of-charge

i then spilled coke on my ps4 controller and tried to get them to do the same thing -- nope. said i had to pay for it.

although once i did get a full refund for AC Unity by telling them my son bought it without my permission. they said they would revoke my access to it but i can still play it to this day and i got my 80 bucks back so

How is this gaming related? Sony is a gaming company and therefore because we're talking about a company that makes games it's good enough? What you're talking about is sony as a company, not as a game company. Gaming doesn't go into this thread.

Customer service =/= developers/artists etc if this was about customer service fucking over say, 10,000 people then it could belong in gaming, but if it has only happened to one person then it's hardly worth discussing the legitimacy of the company.

Sony's customer service is pretty shit I've realised after crosing over from the '360.

/r/PS4 has so many grumpy threads about avcounts being banned without reason, hacked and unwanted pirchases not being refunded, and generally not giving a shit until some serious screws are put on them to actually do something.

Microsoft on the other hand is like "Oh you lost your account, here's it back (after providimg decent proof) with an apology, some games and £20".

Sony's console may be topping the charts, but it's seriously lacking in other departments (notably security and it's own "GwG").

yeah I've never had any problems with Xbox customer service but PSN customer service makes a huge deal out of every time I contact them.

Ye, Furi was one of the first food games they put up. Even then, in comparison to the kind of titles they offer on GwG (with indefinite ownership) it pales.

That is something I really like about xbox. They tend to have pretty decent customer service where they are willing to give back with an apology.

I've noticed if you mention Sony with a Microsoft rep they tend to bend over backwards to make you happy.

I've never had a problem with Sony tho, I got a bunch of charges put on my account back on ps3 and they refunded the full amount after a month ($250ish).

Microsoft on the other hand banned my younger brothers account after it was stolen and refused to give it back to him/refund my money (my card was on his account).

Took him three phone calls and me four just to get the account back, and they only partially refunded my money and removed all games/points purchased.

Fuck Microsoft tbh.
