You can change the game's difficulty and assists to however you want them too.

If you want the suggested line on the road that tells you when you should be accelerating and braking you can do that. There's also an option that makes the game do the braking for you by doing it on its own whenever you get to a turn.

I have all of this off since I find it boring but for newer players, they're good options to introduce you to the way these games are.
