CTR: ITS LIKE MARIO KART BUT WITH KARTS SO LE INNOVATIVE XDDiddy Kong Racing: You have the option in certain stages to use different vehicles from just a kart, causing a massive change of playing the game

CTR did Mario Kart better than Mario Kart did, with the attention to detail and polish that Naughty Dog is known for. Nothing is arbitrary here. Every item, every mechanic, serves a purpose. The single advantage DKR has is the music. And it is a very slight edge.

It's bad optimization, short and simple.

If the Xbone and the PS4 had decent hardware from the start, would we be needing to install every game? I'm thinking if the systems where released a year or so latter, then there might have been a disc drive which would have been able to read Bly-ray dics at a fast enough speed if not, they could have made their own. The money MS wasted on the Kinect could have went towards that and the same with Sony for their pointless VR.
