Do we even know anything about Fire Emblem If outside its Nippon title and that it's a different set of writers from Awakening?

They've hinted at "keeping the Metroid franchise alive" as far as I've seen. I assume that's the Prime Trilogy port.

We don't need to know anything other than that we are being graced with a new fire emblem game.
Its a series that is very difficult to fuck up. Besides considering Awakening was potentially going to be the last game the fact that they're cranking them out is good news.

Awakening was always considered their "make it or break it" game in the franchise. They said years ago that they were pleased with its sales, and being that selling well was a condition to save the franchise, a new game has been in waiting for awhile.

I just want to know about SMTxFE. Unless If is that game. The first game in the Persona "continuity" was SMT If..., after all.
